 Author MA Scott is new to the writing world. Her debut novella Walk in the Woods was released on May 12th, 2015. MA grew up in both the city and county of Alabama. In her spare time she loves writing, reading, cooking, sleeping she also loves to play the piano and guitar. If she isn’t doing any of those things you will find her at her church or spending quality time with her loved ones. MA current lives in Alabama with her family, where she is a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan.


When asked why she loves to write her answer was simple “I love the freedom it gives me. I love having a voice and choosing words and building characters who I love and who frustrate me. It's astounding what you can do with twenty-six letters.

The author she looks up to is GJ Walker-Smith. “She's a brilliant writer who has made a great name for herself.” as quoted by MA Scott.

Life has gone on since Christian last stepped into the woods. She and Tony are engaged. A new neighbor vacates the previously empty Gallagher house. Perhaps the biggest change is her attitude towards the woods that she avoided. There is a longing she feels towards the woods that she knows nobody will understand.

When Christian and her new neighbour venture into the woods together, they take trails that shouldn't be taken and go where they shouldn't go. The woods once again hold disastrous consequences for Christian, and her life will never be the same because of them.
